I ended my relationship of 5 months yesterday. And although it wasn’t as long as my previous one, it was just as serious. Nothing lasts forever, and it hurts like a bitch right now but i’ll get over it. People who think they have found their soul mate this young are naive, you have no idea of the possibilities out there. There are multiple someones for everyone, and you can’t beat yourself up if one of them doesn’t work out.

I hate when people pull that whole “I was born in the wrong era” bullshit.
No, you’re damn lucky to be born in this era, ranting on a blog, using the internet, using a computer, using electricity. You wear vintage clothes, you like old music. That doesn’t make you born in the wrong decade. You dress and style your hair like you live in the 50’s good for you. You probably also love the korean war, and are super informed on the space race, NOT.
If someone came up to me and was like “I hate indoor plumbing and I only use candles and lanterns, and I live in a log cabin, and I kill my own food,” then maybe I’d agree. but even then they’re just an extreme environmental, nonconforming, hippie.
